Project Details

On 26th January 2001, a major earthquake hit Gujarat having epicentre in Bhuj. The earthquake devastated mini structures all over Gujarat.
Structwel was appointed by Health Department and Roads and Bridges Department of Government of Gujarat for carrying out Condition Assessment of the structures including Non-destructive testing and preparation of Cost estimate and tenders.
Structwel audited around 2500 structures spanning in 9 districts of Gujarat. These structures included important structures like Circuit houses, Hospitals, Community Health Centres & Primary Health Centre at Taluka & Village Levels.

Project Details

On 30th September 1993, Latur district was hit by a massive earthquake leaving many load bearing structures constructed with stone masonry walls with Mangalore tile roofing & some of the RCC structures severely damaged.
Structwel was appointed to carry out the Condition Assessment of the structures that were still standing; but were affected with major cracking and partial collapse etc.
The project also included preparation of BOQs, Estimates and Tenders.

Project Details

This 100-year-old historic stone masonry palace was under use by the state government until it was destroyed beyond repairs in the Gujarat Earthquake of 2001.
The Palace occupies an area of approximately 2 Lakh Sq. ft. with a massive temple in its front courtyard. It has a height of up to 40’ and the temple Shikar top reaches beyond 150’.
Structwel was appointed as an Architectural and Engineering Consultants for the Project with the mandate to restore and retrofit the entire structure.
